Yesterday, Ezra and I took a little time to paint our #heartsinthewindow 💜💛💙for all our amazing health care team out there. Tonight we listened as everyone banged pots and pans, shouted thank you and heard fireworks in the distance. On another note, I heard someone mention today that after hearing the 7pm salute their child made the comment, “I should wake up mommy like this”....... thankfully Ezra can’t reach our pots and pans😅😅

Looking for that little ray of hope✨ Did anyone else see that INCREDIBLE rain/hail storm with bright glorious sun? That was crazy. About a month ago, the girls received these beautiful floral Meadow sleep suites from @mynestdesigns and have been living in them! The moment I put this suite on Ezra, she turned to me and asked if she could go down for a nap! It had only been 15 minutes and these suites were already working their magic!!🤩🤩🤩 And it doesn’t hurt that they are also ADORABLE!! . . From mealtimes to bedtimes, it’s tough to navigate through all the changes that come with growing up! @mynestdesigns developed their Baby Sleep Suit with this specific challenge in mind as your little one struggles through their swaddle transition. This particular line of short sleeve baby sleep suits made with soft bamboo blended muslin can ensure that our precious munchkins get the best sleep without overheating. Last weekend we were able to escape to the mountains and spend a few days away from the rest of the world, enjoying each other’s company, and had a good chunk of quality time. I am so thankful for this trip, the fresh air and am amazed at the timing of it all. These days we’re FaceTiming and calling each other instead of face to face and we can’t wait to spend time together again.💛💛💛

Although the past week has been a whirlwind and it feels like everything has been turned upside down and put on pause, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of humility. Spending our days at home has definitely taken us a few days to navigate this new normal. I found a couple fun new things for Ezra to enjoy, started our garden up and have put together a list of some home projects and DIYS to do to save our own sanity. So far we’ve repaired the cupboard in the washroom, made a shiplap wall in our living room, and picked up all the materials we put together an accent wall in our bedroom.✨😍 (thank you to the amazing @cloe.tomson for the inspiration!) How are you filling your days at home? Reading a new book? Tackling home projects or pulling up your sleeves for some good ol’ deep cleaning?

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
